The house
The house was built in the 1800's and used to be a pigsty. Later, a family turned it into their home. In 2012, the previous owner renovated it to a cosy family house. The house has strong wooden beams and lots of wooden finishing, making it feel alive and cozy. It gives off a warm and friendly vibe, complete with comforting sounds.
We've refreshed the house by applying a new layer of paint and adding decorations, creating a calming warmth with a surfy touch.
Our goal is to offer you more than just a place to stay. Come on in, experience the charm, and feel at home.
BREAKFAST
When you reserve one of Blueberria's cozy rooms, a homemade breakfast is included every morning. This hearty breakfast buffet is freshly prepared each day with fresh bread and local, healthy products, and it includes drinks such as coffee, tea, and juice. Waking up like this will provide you with all the energy you need to enjoy your morning to the fullest.
Breakfast is served in the common area on the ground floor from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, and you can savor it in one of our relaxing spots both inside and around the guesthouse. Inside, there's a large table for you to enjoy your breakfast. Additionally, outside in the garden, you can sit under the patio or on the beautiful terrace next to the house. Being outdoors with your breakfast and enjoying the view over the mountains is one of the best things, don't you think?
COMMON AREAs
Blueberria provides various shared spaces for all guests. On the ground floor, you'll find a communal area featuring a large table for dining, playing games, and socializing. Next to this, there's a comfortable couch area, perfect for reading, trip planning, or simply unwinding. Enjoy benefits like free Wi-Fi, a music system, and a selection of books and games.
Inside the house, you have access to a fully equipped kitchen, allowing you to prepare your own lunch or dinner. We fell in love with the big garden around the house. Outside, we made many comfy spots for everyone to chill and enjoy their time.
We've got a sunny lounge area, a mini ramp tucked away in the back garden for skate enthusiasts to enjoy without disturbing anyone, and a spot for cozy campfires. There are plenty of things to explore
GARDEN
Our garden is a peaceful place where you can connect and take a break. There's enough space to exercise, do some yoga, appreciate the birds soaring overhead, or simply wander around.
The spacious garden has a nice view over the blueberry farm from the guesthouse. You can see the mountains in the background while looking at the field, and the evening sunset is simply magical. The blueberry bushes themselves occupy the most space in the garden. Taking a stroll through these rows is amazing, making you feel connected to nature.
As mentioned earlier, we have many different cozy corners in the garden for you to enjoy the views and tranquility.
A unique feature of the garden is the chance to use an outdoor bathroom. Beside the shared toilet, there's an open-air shower (cold water) for enjoying the morning surrounded by birdsong or rinsing off after an amazing surf session. It's an additional way to connect with nature.
