Welcome in Blueberria, a little piece of country paradise that’s far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our guesthouse is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful stay in Cantabria.
In this pretty area, you can enjoy tasty food, discover the beautiful nature, feel the local culture in nearby towns, or have an active adventure. Everything is doable here if you believe in it.

This is our house
The house was built in the 1800's and used to be a pigsty. Later, a family turned it into their home. In 2012, the previous owner renovated it to a cosy family house. The house has strong wooden beams and lots of wooden finishing, making it feel alive and cozy. It gives off a warm and friendly vibe, complete with comforting sounds.
We've refreshed the house by applying a new layer of paint and adding decorations, creating a calming warmth with a surfy touch.
Our goal is to offer you more than just a place to stay. Come on in, experience the charm, and feel at home.
THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA
Blueberria is situated in the picturesque countryside of Cantabria. In this beautiful area, you'll discover rolling hills, mountains, farms, expansive landscapes, and charming Spanish houses. Our village, Barcéna de Cicero, is also a short distance from stunning beaches that are guaranteed to take your breath away.
Close by, you can visit lively coastal cities like Santoña, Laredo, Isla, Noja, and Castro Urdiales. These places are perfect for taking a walk, experiencing the local culture, grabbing a drink, and trying tasty local food.
Also, our guesthouse is in a handy spot between two big cities, Santander and Bilbao, making it a great spot for a fantastic all-around vacation.
Explore our Fantastic farm
We want to be honest with you—before this project, we didn't know much about blueberry bushes. We love gardening, planting, and having a green thumb, but being blueberry farmers is a whole new adventure. We embraced the challenge and have learned a lot about blueberries and how to take care of our plants. We have a field of 4500 m² full grown with blueberry bushes, around 1200 plants. These can bring us around 5 tons of well grown high quality blueberries.
